The School as a Catholic Community

As a Catholic community, we believe parents are the first educators of their children. We also believe we share the role of educating children in terms of their faith with parents, and so we strive to inform and involve parents as much as we can. We aim to support parents in understanding how they can help to develop their child's faith. Parents and members of the wider community are welcomed to assemblies, Masses and other liturgies throughout the year.

The Wider Community

As a Catholic community, we believe we should teach our children the importance of helping, supporting and caring for others who are less fortunate than ourselves. Our community supports a range of different charities throughout the liturgical year, and we teach the children the importance of this. We aim for our child to become responsible members of our inclusive Catholic community who are able to make positive contributions to society. Examples of ways we support others include:

  • Support for local foodbanks and our local SVP through our Harvest collections
  • Chosen Advent charities, including Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, War Child, Your Sanctuary
  • Lent fundraiser for CAFOD
  • Support for a local children's mental health and well-being charity- Beelieve
