The Marist Catholic Primary School is the parish school attached to Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in West Byfleet and we have very strong links with the Parish. The Parish Priest Monsignor Malachy Keegan takes an active part in the life of the School and each class attends Holy Mass at the Parish Church during the year and Holy Mass is also held at the School for the whole community at least twice a term.
Our Deanery Schools
We belong to a Deanery of School which comprises St Dunstan’s in Woking, St Hugh of Lincoln in Knaphill, St Augustine’s in Frimley and our secondary school, St John the Baptist in Woking.
We work closely together as a group of schools and share professional development opportunities between our staffs and many opportunities for the children from the different schools to get together, often in the form of sports! Most of our children move on to St John the Baptist (SJB) for their secondary education.
Woking Schools’ Learning Partnership
The Marist is an active member of the Woking Schools’ Learning Partnership. This partnership of primary schools from across the Borough provides opportunities for shared staff professional development and many shared learning opportunities for our children.
