Old Woking Road,
Welcome to The Marist Catholic Primary School
Headteacher: Mrs Kate Licence
The Marist Catholic Primary School is the parish school attached to Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in West Byfleet. It is a Catholic Voluntary Aided School for children aged 4 – 11 years. We are now a two form primary school admitting 60 children each year.
We are very proud of our school and hope that we have given a flavour of what we are about in the pages of this website. We hope that you find the website useful but if you can’t find what you are looking for or would like a printed version of information, please contact us by emailing email@example.com or ringing our School office on 01932 344477 (where you will speak to one of our Office staff, Mrs Wort or Mrs Morreale) and we will do our very best to help!
If you are a prospective parent considering The Marist as the right school for your child, please go to our Admissions page where you will find details of our Admissions policy and information on what to do next. The most important thing is to come and see us – an Open Morning is the best opportunity but if you cannot make the next one or if you need to come in sooner in respect of a September 2017 or in-year start, please do contact the School office as above. Mrs Wort is our Admissions Administrator.
let them know the date!
I have come in order that you may have life - life in all its fullness'. (John 10:10)
With Christ as our guide, we learn, we love, we achieve together.
The values Christ embodied, the Gospel values, are the basis of our school life. The Gospel values are: love, forgiveness, reconciliation, justice, faith, integrity, humility, service, peace, hope and prayer.
We learn in a safe, encouraging community of high expectations for the achievement and conduct of all. The British Values - democracy; the rule of law; individual liberty; mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths – underpin our curriculum. We encourage all our children to develop the qualities of a Marist Learner: enthusiasm, perseverance, confidence, reflection, collaboration and independence.
At The Marist, rules about how we behave are based on this commandment: “Love one another”. We believe that it is important to value and respect others; forgiving and reconciling when mistakes are made.
we achieve together,
We work hard so that learning is stimulating, challenging and engaging. Our expectations for all children are high, for both work and behaviour. We celebrate the talents and achievements of all so that children can develop spiritually, academically, physically and emotionally.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment
